Titanfall: Frontierâ€™s Edge DLC - Is It Worth It?

They need to stop splitting up the small community, if these were free updates they would do a lot more for the game than being paid. They need to find a way to monetise this game elsewhere, Valve aren't stupid, they're making more money than most and games like TF2, Dota 2 and CS:GO are more popular than this, COD or the whole BF series.. Dota 2 is more popular than them all put together lol.

You have to ask why?

Well because they don't charge for content, they charge for fluff, people buy fluff and communities are built on feeling well looked after by the developer. All paid map packs do is split the community up and people stop playing because it becomes harder and harder to find good games.

Also though allow player created items and sell that stuff, CS:GO sells the Operation packs which are player created maps. That builds trust and builds a community, sadly though Respawn were too stupid to realise the power of Steamworks and the Source engine for this, instead they sold out to EA, which ironically is worse than Activision and now they're linked to Microsoft as well.... which they didn't even seem to know until the last second.
