Can We Trust Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is just fine..

Some of the best games from last year got funded via kickstarter or some other foarm of crowd funding.

I never back for silly amounts max i would back is the price of a normal game and thats not something i would miss if something did go wrong. I backed Godus myself but only for £15 and have tested the game in its early stages, it was shapnig up ok the last time i gave it a go.

anyway a few of the awesome games I played last year and this year that got funded via kickstarter or similar.

Divinity: original sin

Wasteland 2
Faster Than Light

Chivalry medieval warfare

Shadowrun Returns

Sunless Sea

Xenonauts

Thinking about it the only AAA title that I enjoyed from last year was the latest Dragon Age game and in the end that got pretty boring. So for me kickstarter or crowdfunding have provided the only good games from last year.

Yes there will be some bad eggs but thats the same with soem AAA titles that get released..
