I was extremely excited for this, but I'm disappointed in many aspects. I don't like that my female character is referred to with male pronouns, nor do I like having to grind CONSTANTLY. If you're an average player like me, you're probably going to have to do every side-quest and likely some repeats to make sure your character is competent for the story.
The combat is as simplistic as it gets, which is fine, but it's very slippery and many times you'll be punching the air. And good luck with the camera in the tight spaces you're forced to fight in.
Also: seriously? I can't preview what a piece of clothing looks like before I spend the zenny I've been hoarding? That stuff takes forever to accumulate! Not cool. With that venting done, back to eating my words and playing the game for a few more dozen hours.
